Skipbridge Farm Cottages (cont.)

Client: Skipbridge Farm Cottages Brief: The nice folk at Skipbridge Farm Cottages asked me back once again to photograph the next couple of cottages they have finished refurbishing. As always the requirement was for high quality photos that clearly demonstrate the standard of living one can enjoy when staying.

Chester B&B Photography – Lavender Lodge

Client: Lavender Lodge Brief: I was booked to update the photographs of this lovely B&B over in Chester. The request from the owner was to produce images that give potential guests the closest representation of what they can expect on arrival.                           The B&B also has a nice garden seating area for guests to enjoy…

Lawrence Batley Theatre

Client: Lawrence Batley Theatre Brief: The marketing department of the theatre required new, up-to-date images of the theatre building and it’s interior. This included the performance spaces, meeting rooms and social areas.

North Light Cafe

Client: North Light Cafe Brief: With the cafe now under new management, the cafe has recently undergone a major facelift. As a result the new management required fresh images of the space for use their new website and social media. Thistledown House B&B

Client: Thistledown House B&B Brief: Lesley & Eric – the B&B owners – decided that their existing website photography was not doing justice to the quality of the facilities on offer. A fresh eye and professional finish was called upon to boost the quality of their marketing images.   Luckily the rain gave way to some blue sky by the afternoon, allowing me to get some exterior shots… This rather handsome chap is Ted. I was asked to take his photo so that visitors would know there’s a dog on site!

Skipbridge Farm Cottages

Client: Skipbridge Farm Cottages Brief: To photograph a couple of styled holiday cottages and a luxury ‘shepherd’s hut’ for internet/social marketing purposes.

Image is Everything – The Importance of Professional Photography

Obviously, as a photographer I’m going to say that image is everything but, when it comes to selling a house, I really believe it is. I know that when my wife and I were looking at houses we dismissed many a potential property based solely on what we saw in the photographs and I guess many others have done the same. Sometimes first impressions really do matter. This property had been listed with an estate agent for several months with only a handful of viewings in that time. Like with a lot of Estate Agents the photos used to market the property had been captured by the agents themselves when the floor plan measurements and valuation had taken place – not by a professional photographer. I was asked by the owner to come in and take some new images so the property’s listing could be updated. A few weeks after I supplied the new photos an offer was made on the property and the sale went through soon after! Below are the images for comparison…   For starters there wasn’t an image of the entrance hall, so I captured this… Original… Mine… Original… Mine… Original… Mine… Original… Mine… Original… Mine… […]
